We are hosting a deadlift competition as a fundraiser to help our friend and fellow strength coach, Brendon Rearick, who was recently diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia.
All money raised will be used to support Brendon’s medical expenses and the costs of moving near Stanford or back to Boston to receive the best medical care possible. All additional funds will be donated to The Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation. The AAMDSIF has the highest quality rating that can be achieved by a charity according to Charity Navigator.

About the Deadlift Competition:
- Raw, no straps
- 3 attempts per person
- 25 male lifters
- 25 female lifters
If you are not interested in deadlifting we would still love to have you at the event!
When you register, you’ll see two options – to register as a competitor or an attendee.
